Your Hands. Your Clay. Your Story
Whether you’re here to unwind, explore your creativity, or connect with fellow makers, Island Pottery & Studio offers a welcoming space to shape something uniquely yours—no experience required.
We’re not an art school. We’re a Studio for a creative community where people of all ages and backgrounds gather to create with clay, share ideas, and grow at their own pace. Our sessions are
guided by experienced makers, so you’ll always have support without the pressure of lessons, grades, or homework.

Dive into the tactile joy of hand-building with techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike, these relaxed sessions let you create sculptural or functional pieces entirely by hand—no wheel needed.

Get grounded at the wheel as you learn to center, pull, and shape your own bowls, mugs, and vases. Our experienced studio guides offer hands-on support to help you discover your rhythm and develop confidence through practice.

Specially designed for younger creators, our teen wheel and kids’ hand-building sessions offer a safe, joyful space to explore clay. Emphasis is on imagination, experimentation, and fun—not formal technique.
